What do you think are your biggest strengths as a speaker? What challenges do you face when presenting in front of an audience?

 Prompt Response: I think my biggest strengths as a speaker is having a clear and loud voice. Some challenges that I have when presenting in front of an audience is that I have a hard time getting out what I want to say. I know what I want to say but I have a hard time saying it and putting it into words. 

Summary: Today in class we presented our "A Lesson Before Dying" projects. I did the one on items we might find in character's trash cans. 

Reflection: I learned that I need to make more eye contact and read less directly from the slides.

  Prompt Response:  Of the 5 senses, the one that I value the most is sight. Sight is the most important to me because it is the only one that you can't do anything about. However, if you don't have sight, you can not do anything about it. You need sight to truly experience life and the world. That is why sight is the most important to me. Which time do you perfer the most and why, Daylight Savings Time or Standard Time?

  Prompt Response:  I prefer Daylight Savings Time. This is because it symbolizes that summer is getting closer, which is exciting. I also enjoy having a change in my routine that makes life a little more interesting for a little bit. I also enjoy having more daylight that lasts for longer. That is why I prefer Daylight Savings Time over Standard Time.  Summary: Today was a virtual day, so I worked on the NEWSELA assignment on Daylight Savings Time.  Reflection:  I enjoyed reading the article and learning about the reason and history behind Daylight Savings Time. I also thought that the questions weren't that difficult, but they still offered a challenge.

Prompt Response:  If my Nintendo Switch could tell a story about me, it would probably talk about all the time I spent playing video games and bonding with family and friends:  "Jonah would spend hours on weekends playing Fortnite, Super Smash Bros, and Mario Kart with my family and friends. He loved the time he spent together making memories and growing friendships."  Summary: Today in class, we read a poem called "So Much Depends On..." and began a project about how the little things in our lives play big roles.  Reflection:  I thought the lesson today helped me recognize and feel more grateful for the objects I might take for granted.
