Write about your most special holiday memory.

 Prompt Response: A special holiday memory was when my family and I visited a cabin at Lake Tahoe. We hung out with cousins, skied/snowboarded, and played in the snow. It was a great time and I would love to do it again. 

Summary: Mr. Rease was not here today, so we read Chapters 8-10 of "A Lesson Before Dying" and answered discussion questions. 

Reflection: I enjoyed class today because we could work independently and quickly.

  Prompt Response: A conversation that changed me was a conversation that I had about passions. We discussed how if you don't have any passions, you will have no determination and become lazy. This can lead to depression and many other bad things such as hurting relationships. Which time do you perfer the most and why, Daylight Savings Time or Standard Time?

  Prompt Response:  I prefer Daylight Savings Time. This is because it symbolizes that summer is getting closer, which is exciting. I also enjoy having a change in my routine that makes life a little more interesting for a little bit. I also enjoy having more daylight that lasts for longer. That is why I prefer Daylight Savings Time over Standard Time.  Summary: Today was a virtual day, so I worked on the NEWSELA assignment on Daylight Savings Time.  Reflection:  I enjoyed reading the article and learning about the reason and history behind Daylight Savings Time. I also thought that the questions weren't that difficult, but they still offered a challenge.
