Write about a time when you were judged unfairly.

Prompt Response: A time when I was judged unfairly was when I played basketball in 6th grade. I joined a team in the YMCA and went to the first practice. When I got there I was the shortest player on the team so everyone initially judged me as not very good at basketball. However, I ended up being very good and was a major contributor to the team.

Summary: Today in class we started reading the first chapter of a book we will be reading for the rest of the year. It is about a wrongly convicted young man being sentenced to death for a crime he did not commit. We also started working on a worksheet related to the first chapter.

Reflection: I enjoyed today's lesson because the book we are starting seems really interesting and well-written. I also enjoy analyzing literature.
