Describe a time you couldn't stop laughing.

Prompt Response: I couldn't stop laughing when I was hanging out with my friend and we saw a funny video. We were sitting on the couch and watching YouTube videos when we came across a 20-minute compilation of a person pretending to be a barber, and then giving homeless people horrible haircuts. We found the video hilarious and literally laughed the entire video. By the end of the video, we were both in tears. My face and chest physically hurt and my lungs were in pain. It is singlehandedly the hardest I have ever laughed in my life. 

Summary: Today we went to a meeting in the auditorium and learned about college, dual enrollment, and scholarships. 

Reflection: I learned a lot about dual enrollment and I am very interested. I think that I am going to schedule a meeting with my counselor to get more information.

  Prompt Response:  Of the 5 senses, the one that I value the most is sight. Sight is the most important to me because it is the only one that you can't do anything about. For example, for hearing, you can learn sign language. You don't really need taste either. For smell, touch, and hearing, there are ways to live your life without them. However, if you don't have sight, you can not do anything about it. You need sight to truly experience life and the world. That is why sight is the most important to me. Which time do you perfer the most and why, Daylight Savings Time or Standard Time?

  Prompt Response:  I prefer Daylight Savings Time. This is because it symbolizes that summer is getting closer, which is exciting. I also enjoy having a change in my routine that makes life a little more interesting for a little bit. I also enjoy having more daylight that lasts for longer. That is why I prefer Daylight Savings Time over Standard Time.  Summary: Today was a virtual day, so I worked on the NEWSELA assignment on Daylight Savings Time.  Reflection:  I enjoyed reading the article and learning about the reason and history behind Daylight Savings Time. I also thought that the questions weren't that difficult, but they still offered a challenge.

Prompt Response:  If my Nintendo Switch could tell a story about me, it would probably talk about all the time I spent playing video games and bonding with family and friends:  "Jonah would spend hours on weekends playing Fortnite, Super Smash Bros, and Mario Kart with my family and friends. He loved the time he spent together making memories and growing friendships."  Summary: Today in class, we read a poem called "So Much Depends On..." and began a project about how the little things in our lives play big roles.  Reflection:  I thought the lesson today helped me recognize and feel more grateful for the objects I might take for granted.
