Write about a place you never wanted to leave.

Prompt: Write about a place you never wanted to leave.

Prompt Response: A place I never wanted to leave was Costa Rica. Me and my family lived there for around a month and a half during the Covid-19 pandemic. We had a lovely house on top of a cliff in the jungle. You could look off the cliff and see the ocean and beautiful rock structures. Every morning we would get woken up by screeching monkeys and tropical birds. Everything was so peaceful and life was slow-paced. The food was delicious and cheap as well. I loved going to the beach, swimming, boogie-boarding, and many other activities. We visited volcanos and went ziplining hundreds of feet above the jungle. I would love to have the opportunity to go back and experience this again.

Summary: Today we continued working on our one-pagers, but since I have already finished mine, I am working on this post. We also learned about the new blog post format today, where we have to respond to a prompt given to us for the day.

Reflection: I enjoyed working on the one-pager because I got to draw and use my art skills. I enjoyed reading the short story "Ambush" and liked looking for themes and deeper meanings in the text.
