Describe a time when you felt completely lost.

Prompt Response: A time that I felt completely lost was when I had to fly to France all by myself. My dad got a job in France for the summer, so me and my family went to go visit him. My family left two weeks before me so I could go to a summer camp. My friend and his parents dropped me off at the airport and I checked into my flight and went to the gate. I got on the plane when it was time to board and we took off. It was around a 12-hour flight so I watched a lot of movies and slept as well. When the plane landed and I got off I felt very lost and scared. All the signs were in different languages and I had never gone through customs by myself. However, I was able to find my way through the airport and I met my family at baggage claim. I had a great time in Europe and I will never forget that experience.

Summary: Today we worked on a worksheet and learned our new vocabulary. On the worksheet, we had to fill in sentences with the vocabulary words and we had to write our own sentences using synonyms of the vocab.

Reflection: I enjoyed learning new words and working on the worksheet. I thought that the worksheet was simple but it also helped me learn and understand the meanings of the new vocabulary words.
